Training
Before training can begin you must find the right horse for you.
In order to get the best horse possible within your price range,
you need to have the ability to distinguish between an average
horse and a horse with the potential to become a first place
winner. I have helped countless people find the horse of their
dreams and I can help you as well. Once you own that special
horse and place it in training with me, it is my job to help you
keep it polished and ready for any level of competition.
Training needs vary with every horse and rider, so first we will
sit down and have a consultation on what your needs and
expectations are.
Once we have a plan to follow, the training will start immediately. My training methods are designed
to enable you to be able to ride the horse so that both the horse and rider can excel in my training
program. I train the horse with steps that are easy to follow and any level rider can learn.
Lessons
I feel once your horse is polished and ready to
ride, it is imperative that you are able to guide the
horse through its moves to the best of its ability.
In the lessons, I carefully explain to the rider how
to position their hands, seat and legs to enable
the horse to perform various maneuvers. With
this simplistic style of training, the rider should
then be able to practice on his or her own what
we worked on during the week. If this is done, we
can then move forward with the next lesson.

Show Coaching
This is an area in which I go to the horse shows with the
rider, whether it is a local one-day show or a multi-day
breed show. The fee for a multi-day show consists of
meals, lodging if needed, and a predetermined fee. At the
shows, I ride the horse if it needs trained before a class. I
also review the patterns and explain what the judge is
looking for at each maneuver.
Furthermore, before entering each class, I explain to the
rider what they should do in the class as well as make sure
their attire is neat and professional. Finally, I help groom the
horse and use various show products to insure the horse
will look and perform to the best of its ability.

Sales and Acquisitions
Selling - I will assist you to sell your horse including assisting with making a professional
video to show your horse to its best ability. The horse will be marketed through various
contacts. There is a 10% commission on the final sale price of the animal.
Acquisitions - I will help you to search for your next horse. Additionally, I will review videos
and provide guidance as to which horses are worth investing a trip to see it in person. I will
accompany you on the trip and provide professional feedback on the horse's performance.
Additionally, I will manage the pre-purchase exam with the veterinarian.
